Message from Head of the Department

Welcome to the Department of CSE in Alhaz Mockbul Hossain University College. Today's generation can't be thought without the use of Information Technology and IT Enabled Services. IT/ITES are basically merging of many technologies where CSE play the most vital role. Our Institute acknowledged the importance of Information Technology and has therefore introduced Department of CSE since 2015 under National University. The Department of CSE is one of the pioneer Departments of this college which provides top-quality education with its qualified faculty member, well equipped modern laboratories and knowledge development. Students of CSE will have opportunity to take free training in Software Engineering, Computer Networking, Hardware Engineering, Website Development, Database Administrator, System maintenance and development, Freelancing & Outsourcing etc. The Department organizes various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as Programming Contest, Workshops, Seminars, IT Fair, Project Showcasing, Fresher’s Reception, Farewell, National Day Celebration etc. Our mission is to provide quality education in both theoretical and applied foundations of Computer Science and train students to meet the need of ICT industries and create future Computer Scientists, Engineers and responsible citizens.

Activities of CSE Department

1.Provide lesson plan, syllabus, Class routine, Academic calendar at the beginning of the semester.

2.Conduct classes through multimedia slide presentations.

3.Conduct online classes, exams, and departmental activities.

4.Class lecture slides and videos are provided online so that absent students can learn by downloading slides and videos.

5.Assess the academic skills of the students through semester based In-course and test examinations.

6.Practical classes are taken regularly in modern labs.

7.Arrangement of review classes to solve subject wise problems.

8.Provide follow-up of students through contact with parents.

9.Academic courses are developed to help student become proficient in programming through supportive programming competitions.

10.Professional IT courses outside of academic courses are developed to make students workable through free training.
